Jessica “Jesse” Renee McCormick, 33, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. Born on July 10, 1991, in Huntington, she was the daughter of Regina Burns and the late Larry McCormick. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Slayton. Jesse loved her children and siblings and enjoyed singing and dancing. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Haylee McCormick, Sydney McCormick, Michael McCormick, and Jamison Matthew "James" Griffing; siblings, Lisa Spurlock, Larry McCormick, Jr., Fred McCormick, Shannon Wilson, Nicole McCormick, Jason McCormick, and Robert Burns, and her niece, Amanda Henson.
