Jessie Lee Hayes' Obituary
Jessie Lee Hayes, 80, of Barboursville, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 11, 2026. Jessie passed away at home surrounded by her family. Jessie was born October 12, 1945, to the late Jewel and Garnet McComas (Staley). In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Cinda Marie Via (McComas); and two brothers Thomas McComas and Rodney McComas.
She is survived by her son Stephen (Justine) McComas of Richmond, Virginia; daughter Stacy (Michael) Albers of Barboursville; grandchildren Allison Albers, Matthew Klim and Jessie Albers; one sister and brother-in-law Callie (Robert) Boley of Huntington; and several special nieces and nephews.
Jessie’s life focused around faith and family. She graduated Barboursville High School class of 1963. Jessie was a lifetime member of Sixth Avenue Church of Christ. Jessie was a billing clerk for Cabell County EMS and retired from there. Jessie will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
