Jewel Heffner Mazzone's Obituary
JEWEL HEFFNER MAZZONE, 82, of Chesapeake, Oh., Went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2015. Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake with Pastor D.L. Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery, Chesapeake. Jewel was born August 4, 1932 in Chesapeake, Ohio the daughter of the late Sidney and Helen Suiter Heffner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: one daughter, Cheryl Bond, two brothers: Bernard and Norman Heffner; and three sisters: Lois Boothe, Mary Miller and Joan Williams. She is survived by one daughter, Stacie and Jeff Rakes of Proctorville, Ohio; two sons: Jack E. Bond Jr. of Sebastian, Florida, Tim Bond of Vero Beach, Florida; one brother, Roy (Brenda) Heffner of Chesapeake, Ohio, two sisters: Carol Heffner and Linda Heffner, both of Huntington, West Virginia, six grandchildren: Zack and Isaac Rakes of Proctorville, Ohio, Justin Bond and Paige Bond, both of Vero Beach, Florida, Rochelle Mantos of Georgia and Summer Bond of Florida, she is also survived by four great grandchildren. She was a member of the Sybene Missionary Baptist Church, she was a retired secretary and homemaker. She was a loving mother, a special friend, and will be missed by many.
