Jewell Clay's Obituary
Jewell Clay, 86, of South Point, Ohio passed away Monday September 28, 2020 at Paramount Senior Living at Cabell Midland, Ona, WV. She was born January 24, 1934 in Lincoln County, WV to the late Emmitt and Effie Dean Jeffers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Clay; and seven siblings Golden Jeffers, Perlie Jeffers, Grady Jeffers, Andrew Jackson Jeffers, Goldie Gonzales, Betty Worley and Golza "Buck" Jeffers. She is survived by four sons Robert Lee Clay of Palm Bay, FL, Anthony Ray Clay of Huntington, Randy Dale Clay of South Point, and Terry Allen Clay of Proctorville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother Doc Jeffers of Bluefield,VA. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2020 at Miller Memorial Gardens Miller, Ohio by Pastor Tom Jones. There will be no visitation.
