Jimmy Ray Hay, Sr.'s Obituary
Jimmy Ray "James" Hay Sr., 51, of South Point, OH, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at his residence in Burlington, OH. He was the son of Deborah Hager and step mother, Janet Childers and the late Raymond Hay and James Fyffe. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jamie Fyffe; grandparents and in-laws. He is survived by the mother of his children, Juanita Dennison; two brothers, Frank and Ray (Rosie); seven sisters, Amy (Robert), Angie, Linda, Mary, Hazel, Jeanie and Sherrie. He was an amazing father to his children; Justin (Krysta) Hay, Jimmy (Patrice) Hay, Teaven Hay and Joshua (Sara) Hay along with five step-children. He was a loving grandfather to 13 grand children, Aiden Daniel, Xavier, L.J., Liam, Jarek, Raegan, Rusty, London, Kaleigh, Katie, Tinsley, Andrew and Aiden; and 8 step grandchildren. He was an uncle to 22 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many other family members and friends. Jimmy was known best for his kind heart, helping hands and willingness to help anyone, anyway possible. He was a volunteer firefighter in his younger days for the Burlington Fire Department. The only other love in his life aside from family and friends, was kicking back on the river on a warm day/night fishing. He will be greatly missed by all those who had a chance to love him. Hall Funeral Home & Crematory on Proctorville, OH is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be a Memorial service starting at 2 on Saturday February 4, 2023 at 3272 Big Pete Rd, Apartment D Franklin Furnace, OH and visitation all day Sunday.
