Jimmy Hoggett's Obituary
Jimmy Hoggett, 59, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at home. Born on April 3, 1966, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Albert and Janet Brooks Hoggett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle and aunt, Herb and Betty Hoggett. Jimmy was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Proctorville. He was surrounded with love by many friends and family members who are left to cherish his memory, including his cousin and caregiver of 7 years, Taylor Spears, but nothing compared to the love Jimmy had for his dog, Baby, his big Dr. Pepper, and the Cincinnati Reds. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Beulah Baptist Church in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Rob Jones, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 12:00 P.M. at the church. In honor of Jimmy’s memory, the family requests attendees wear Cincinnati Reds attire or something red. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy’s memory to the Gideons International at www.gideons.org/donate.
