Jimmy Dean Ransbottom's Obituary
Jim Ransbottom, born May 31, 1941. On Tuesday afternoon June 2, I was tired. My body hurt, I couldn’t hear or walk upright. Most of the time I was confused and upset. On Friday June 5, 2026, I woke up with perfect hearing, I could walk without falling and I felt no pain. I could remember my wife Betty of 63 years; my sons Jimmy Ransbottom, Todd(Billie) Ransbottom; my beautiful grandson Seth(Emily) Ransbottom; my great grandsons Rhett and Henry Duncan Ransbottom; my brothers Randy(Andrea) Dennis(Lisa); all my nephews and nieces; my sister in law Linda Conley. To my faithful friends Tom Francis who always checked in on me, Jack Fry and many others. Herb and Beverly Nida who were as close as family to me. Don’t cry for me, as this place is perfect. Toby and Atiya, I can hear the birds today and I will watch for you here. Jim Ransbottom, 85 years 5 days, finally at peace, what a day this has been, and look for me when you get here, this is perfect. Per Jim’s wishes, private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at https://www.ehallfuneralhome.com
