JoAnn Insalaco's Obituary
JoAnn Insalaco, 78, of Proctorville, Ohio died peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 27th, 2018. JoAnn, born on February 27th, 1940 in Akron Oh, was the daughter of the late William and Alma Shelby Snoderly. Additionally, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Insalaco, and sister Elizabeth Cameron. Jo Ann graduated from Springfield High School in 1958 where she made many lifelong friends. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and reading. Through the years, JoAnn gave back to her community by mentoring children through 4H leadership, tutoring students, helping foster rescue horses and supporting the ASPCA. Of her many interests and blessings, she was most proud of her family. She is survived by her brother John (Kathy) Snoderly of Akron Ohio; daughter JoAnna (Todd) Riley of Proctorville, OH; son Michael (Mary Alice) Pieri of Akron, OH; daughter Wendy Barker of Barboursville, WV; grandchildren Eric (Casey) Riley, Mackenzie Riley, Jessica Pieri, Grace Pieri, Isabella Pieri, Jared Booten, Brooke Barker, Elise Barker; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30th from 6-8pm at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with the Rosary being said at 7:30pm. A Holy Mass will be said in her honor on Monday, December 31st at 11am at St. Ann Catholic Church in Chesapeake, OH.
