Joanne McMaster's Obituary
Joanne McMaster, 78, formerly of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2024. She was born on May 25, 1945, to the late Harlow and Mary Ward Workman. She was also preceded in death by her husband Pearl Allen McMaster; her infant daughter Julie Louise; sons Gregory Allen and Matthew Jacob. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Teri McMaster; grandchildren Jennifer McMaster of Holiday, Fl; Jodie (Bryan) Fulmer of Tarpon Springs, FL; Jonathan McMaster of Holiday, FL; Kiley (Woody) Wuyts of Lake Wales, Fl; Korey (Hollie) Hadden of Lake Wales, FL; Bailey McMaster of Clearwater, FL; Jake McMaster of Clearwater, FL; great grandchildren Aiden, William, Nora, Leo, and Harlow. Special mention goes to Donna Platz, her niece, who has tirelessly cared for her during a difficult year. She was born in Huntington, WV, but grew up in and graduated high school in Chesapeake, Ohio. That is also where she met the love of her life, Pearl Allen McMaster. They lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL, the Florida Keys and then settled in Lake Wales, Fl, where they called home for over 40 years. Joanne had a beautiful laugh and fiercely cared for and protected her loved ones when in need. She loved to play bingo and go to the casino at every opportunity. A memorial service honoring Joanne's life will be held on Saturday February 24, 2024, at 2PM, visitation will be held from 1PM to 2PM at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio.
