Joe Allen Carico's Obituary
Joe Allen Carico, 77, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at home. He was born November 1, 1943 in Huntington, WV to Denver and Anna Sark Carico and was raised by aunt Rowena and uncle Lawrence Carico. He was a graduate of Vinson High School class of 1961. Joe was retired from the railroad as a supervisor in Car accounting in Baltimore, Maryland. He was preceded in death by sisters Evelyn Trumbo, Frances Pittenger and Jean Nicolosi; brothers Harold and Ronald Carico. Joe is survived by his wife of 59 and a half years Charlene Carico; three children Lisa (Bill) Evan, Joe A. (Kathy) Carico Jr., and Frances (Rick) Williams; eight grandchildren Derek Childers, Jonae Childers, Rick and Ryan Williams, Joe Carico III, Jake and Jonathan Carico, and Samantha Dobbins; eight great-grandchildren; his best friends his brothers Gary ,Bob, Danny and Charles Carico and many close friends. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Bishop Kirby officiating.
