Joe Michael Henderson's Obituary
Joe Michael Henderson, 81, of Proctorville, OH, formerly of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 1, 2026, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born January 30, 1945, in Huntington, WV to the late Arnold (Muck) Henderson and Louise Fern Dailey of Milton, WV. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Patrick Henderson; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Dewey and Doris Rooper. He attended First Baptist Church of Proctorville, and formerly the church in the Valley of Milton. He is survived by his wife of 61 ½ years Peggy Ann Rooper Henderson formerly of Milton and Teays Valley; daughter Lisa (Shane) Blake of Chesapeake, OH; loving granddaughter Mika Jo Blake; and many special family and friends.
