John W. Clary, 62, of Glenwood, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1961 in Huntington, WV to the late Wilbert Warren and Leah Ruth (Weekly) Clary. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Vitral "Doodle" Mount and Harmon Mount. He is survived by his children, Latasha, Jonathan and Christopher (Brittany) and their mother, Theresa Clary; grandchildren, Isaiah, Takoda, Nashya, Zack, Leah, Bryce, Braxton and Madison; siblings, Virginia (Larry) Berry, Sharon (Butch) Stevens, Barbara Clary and Janet Mount. John was a member of Brighter Day Ministries Church. There will be a funeral service held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH with Pastor Tony Mays officiating. Burial will follow at Union Ridge Cemetery, Ona, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward funeral expenses at the funeral home.
