John William Ferguson, 71, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday April 9, 2020 in Richland Hospital, Columbia, S.C. He was born May 22, 1948 in Covington, KY to the late William Ernest and Florence Combs Ferguson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Ferguson; three brothers Lloyd "Cookie Ferguson, Nathan Ferguson, and Chris Ferguson. John is survived by three daughters Monica (Jason) Cyrus, Veronica (Winston) Miller, and Katherine (Brian) Saunders; eight grandchildren, Georgia Miller, Abigail Miller, Jacob Miller, Jayden Cyrus, Joshua Cyrus, Ryan Miller and Aaron Miller; six great grandchildren; two brothers Mark Ferguson and Matt Ferguson; and six sisters Geneva Burge, Trudy Rowe, Sharon Aldridge, Barbara Workman, Darlene Akers, and Melissa Davis. Private family services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
