John J.J. Jenkins' Obituary
John J.J. Jenkins, 49, of South Point, OH, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 after a short battle with Lymphoma. Born on January 18, 1976, in Deerborn, MI, he was the son of the late Raymond Eugene and Linda Angle Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Crift and Leona Jenkins; maternal grandparents, William and Clara Angle; brother, Raymond Jenkins; father-in-law, Carlos Runyon; brother-in-law, Chet Wilson, and his special cat, Leo, he had for 19 years. John graduated in 1994 from Lincoln Park High School in Michigan and worked for AutoZone. John volunteered for Chesapeake High School band boosters and loved camping, traveling, riding his Side-by-Side, playing poker, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Carla Jenkins of South Point; daughter, Annie Jenkins of South Point; son, Tyler Heckle of Farmington, MI; sisters, Emmy Wilson, Rose (Gary) Kipp, Paula (Gene) Barnett, and Ann (Jeff) Watson; brother, Ronnie (Martha) Jenkins; mother-in-law, Teresa Runyon; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Jenkins and Tanya Runyon; his cat, Smokey, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many special friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M.
