John Owen Mayberry's Obituary
John Owen Mayberry, 50, of Washington D.C., formerly of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C. He was born in Huntington, WV on December 30, 1972 to Charles Jimmie Jr and Sharon Kay (Roach) Mayberry. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Jimmie Mayberry III; paternal grandparents, Jim & Opal Mayberry; maternal grandparents, Owen and Amanda Roach and one aunt, Billie Barbour. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Mayberry; aunt, Verna McCarty; numerous cousins and friends and good friend, Kim Hall. There will be a funeral service held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH officiated by Pastor Larry Casteel. Burial will follow at Perkins Ridge Cemetery in Willow Wood, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
