Johnny Paul Watson's Obituary
Johnny Paul Watson, 62, of Crown City, Ohio passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 18, 2022, at his home. Johnny was born March 16, 1960, in Huntington, WV to Chauncey D. and Hildred Barry Watson. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Y. Watson, whom he married on July 16, 1983. Along with his wife, Shirley, Johnny is survived by daughters, Erica (Jeff) Martin and Jessica (Kyle) Brown of Crown City, Ohio; granddaughters, Lydia Martin, Adalynn Martin and Eliza Brown; siblings, Charles (Carolyn) Watson of Mansfield, Ohio, Dale (Shirley) Watson; Bill (Linda) Watson, Gean (Debbie) Watson and Donna (Terry) Chapman all of Crown City, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Jeanie Watson and Debbie Watson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his brothers, Virgil Watson, Hollis Watson and Dean Watson; and sister-in-law, Shirley Joy Watson. Johnny was employed by Riedel Wilks for several years. He loved the outdoors and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters and his Boston Terrier, Trixie. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Junior Preston officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
