Joseph Matthew Smith's Obituary
Joseph Matthew Smith, 56, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Joey was born April 27, 1969, son of the late Charlie Smith and the late Wanda (Hobert) Roe. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Smith. He was an employee of Quest Diagnostics. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Sandi, and a daughter, Kylee, his pride and joy. Also surviving are sisters, Diana (Danny) Smirl, Vicky (Geoff) Frye both of Savannah, Georgia; sister Angela Smith of Huntington, West Virginia; brother, Jason (Teresa) Roe of Las Vegas, Nevada; and sister-in-law, Deborah Smith. He is also survived by an uncle, Fred (Eldora) McCoy and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
