Josephine Moore's Obituary
Josephine Poff Moore, 93, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday March 7, 2024. She was born July 8, 1930, in Wayne County, WV to the late Gus and Josie Poff. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Jennings O. Moore; and two sons Roger Allen Moore and David Timothy Moore; brothers, Howard Poff, Roy Poff and Gus Poff Jr.; sisters, Iris Lorraine Felix, Tina Crabtree and Mary Evelyn.She is survived by six children, Jennings Lee Moore, Pamela Edmonds, Brenda Allen, Patricia (Eddie) Cleveland, Annette Moore, and Donna (Alvin) Cook. In addition to her children, she is survived by her five siblings, Bernard Poff, Norman Jack (Marie) Poff, James (Barbara) Poff, Wilma Joan Richards and Pam Poff. Additionally, twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great and great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, Huntington, WV. Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Life Cathedral Church, Huntington, WV, with Pastor Edwin Harper officiating. Burial will follow the service at Crooks Chapel Cemetery Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
