Joshua Edwin Grimmett, 60, of Chesapeake, OH passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at UK Healthcare in Lexington, KY. He was born August 19, 1963 in Man, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, Wyatt Grimmett; mother, Sylvia Akers; step-father, Lewis Akers; brothers, Jimmy Grimmett and Cordell Akers. He is survived by his wife, Angie Curry Grimmett; son, Jason (Monica) Cyrus; grandsons, Joshua and Jayden Cyrus; brothers, Ricky (Brenda) Grimmett and Ronnie (Pam) Grimmett, Tom Akers, Darrell Akers, David Akers, Aaron Akers; sisters, Phyllis Keipke, Mary Bostic, Cindy Akers, Liz Akers and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a memorial service held at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
