Joyce Lee Ellis' Obituary
Joyce Lee Ellis, 75, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Wednesday February 21, 2018 at home. She was born December 14, 1942 in Huntington, WV to the late William and Ethel Thomas Hinkle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Kimberly Inscoe. She retired from Marshall University. She is survived by her husband Gary M. Ellis; three daughters Kristie (Josh) Hundley of Proctorville, Lori (Steve) Dever of Grove City, Ohio, and Janie (Tony) Webb of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren Dakota, Abby, Izzy, Brenna, Alanna, Kayla, Mitch, Keith, and Matt; four great grandchildren; mother-in-law Loreda Ellis; sister-in-law Joyce (Roy) McComas of Columbus, Ohio; best friends and caregivers Brenda Fisher and Cathy White. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday February 25, 2018 at Hal Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday February 25, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
