Judy Thornton's Obituary
Judy Thornton, 81, of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born on April 11, 1944, in Johnson County, KY, to the late William and Edna Picklesimer Tackett. She was also preceded in death by her husbands Kenny Dunfee and Jack Thornton; son Joey Dunfee; one brother Roger Tackett; and one sister Jane Tredway. She was a member of Perkins Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons Tim Dunfee and Dale Thornton; three daughters Julie Horn, Tana Grubbs, and Melanie Hackworth; numerous grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, April 28, 2025, at Perkins Ridge Cemetery, Willow Wood, OH, with Pastor Luke Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 A.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
