Judy Ann Tubbs, 62, passed away on June 29, 2026, in Lexington, KY. She was born in Huntington, WV on January 18, 1964, to James Carter Tubbs Sr. and Rosetta Burks Tubbs. Judy worked several jobs over the years and retired from home health care in Lexington; KY. Judy is preceded in death by her parents James Carter Tubbs Sr. and Rosetta Burks Tubbs; Sisters Nellie Katherine Burks and Verline Ann Burks-Hobson; Brothers Manual and Richard Burks. She leaves to cherish her memory, her five children Reco (Sara) Tubbs, Aaron Tubbs, Cierra (Chris) Hepburn, Jamal Tubbs, Nicholas (Chelsey) Tubbs; Twenty-one grandchildren De’Asia, Tyjhaun, Montez, DAirra, Danté, Samyiah, Layla, Dkhi, Tamarra, Carter, Mia, Aria, Timia, Aaron Jr., Dhani, Zavier, Zayne, Ny’ina, Ezra, Zakaia, Kade; Two great-grandchildren Ja’Kobe and Tyjhaun Jr.; Two sisters Pamela (Victor) Moses and Cindy (Kenyatta) Elmore; Two brothers Jerry Tubbs and James Carter Tubbs Jr. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Judy’s life was a true blessing to all who knew her and we will carry on her memory and legacy forever. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday. July 9, 2026, at Real Life Christian Center Church, Huntington, WV. Burial will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
