JUNE E. SPIVEY, 91, formerly of Chesapeake, OH, passed away, August 18, 2016, in Winchester, VA. June was born January 24, 1925, the daughter of Newton and Pearl Yates Beverly. Surviving is one daughter, Brenda Spivey of Huntington, WV; one brother, Robie (Judy) Beverly; two sisters, Eleanor (Chuck) Morgott and Anna Ruth Conley; two special nieces, Geana Pannell and LaRita Evans. June has several grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Preceding her in death is her husband, V.J."Brier" Spivey; one son, Brier Jr. Spivey; four brothers, Dan K., Olla, Roosevelt, and Arlen; and also five sisters, Nona, Helen, Barbara, Avonelle, and Lavonne. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Graveside service will be at 11:30 AM at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
