Junior JR Robbins' Obituary
Junior Ray "JR" Robbins, 88, of Proctorville, OH formerly of Chesapeake, OH passed away Thursday February 1, 2024 at Wyngate Senior Living Community at Riversedge. He was born July 4, 1935 to the late John R. and Beulah Toney Robbins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Ethel Charlene Robbins; three brothers Charles, Jerry and Joe Robbins. JR is survived by one son Gregory Ray (Jamie) Robbins of Chesapeake, Ohio; three daughters Leann Rae(Mike) Ross of Huntington, WV, Kristi Raye Robbins of Chesapeake, Ohio and Bethany Rea(David) Gentry of Chesapeake, Ohio; seven grandchildren Jessica(Rob) Holley, Caleb(Ashton) Robbins, Jacob Mylar, Benjamin(Kristen)Mylar, Olivia(Bryson) Johnston, Sophie Gentry and Jaxon Robbins; eight great grandchildren; siblings Jack Robbins of Charlotte, NC, Millie Thompson of Chesapeake, Ohio, Mary Lou sites of Chesapeake, Ohio and Connie Rice of Proctorville, Ohio. JR retired from General Electric and was a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral. Funeral Service will be conducted 7p.m. Monday February 5th, 2024 at Apostolic Life Cathedral 350 Staunton St, Huntington, WV 25702 with Bishop E.S. Harper officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7p.m. on Monday. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery Chesapeake, Ohio. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
