Karen Campbell's Obituary
Our sundancer, Karen Campbell, left this earthly world on April 23, 2024, around the approximate age of 20-70, to begin her watch over us in Heaven. Karen did not have a middle name. That was, according to Karen, because her parents saved all the middle names for her little sister, Shirlie Lynn Monica Marie Campbell Scherzinger.
Karen, a grandmother, or affectionately a "Ting Ting," left this world with her closest family by her side. A gypsy at heart, a dancer, a restaurant owner, a bartender, and an entrepreneur, Karen never stopped dreaming or working on her next project and goal. Karen enjoyed a good conversation. She never met a stranger and always brought life to a room.
While the lord called her to her eternal home, her family here on Earth live on to carry on her spirit.
She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Marylou Campbell, and her brother Doug Campbell.
She is survived by her daughter, Haven Cottle (Joshua); her greatest joy and grandson, Pierce Ellington Cottle; her siblings, Shirlie (the little sister with the long name) Scherzinger (Mark), Steven Campbell, Brian Campbell (Jessica), Howard Owen Campbell (Rosemary), and Gary Campbell; her nieces and nephews, Kari Campbell and Kelly Peetz (Steven) (Brian and Jessica), Samantha Scherzinger and Alex Scherzinger (Shirlie and Mark); Morgan Campbell, Shaylyn Campbell, and Colin Campbell (Owen and Rosemary) and Mason Campbell and Cody Campbell (Gary); and a list of friends and loved ones that would take up an entire newspaper.
A celebration of a beautiful life will be held in Fayetteville, WV on June 15, 2024.
