Katherine Edna McQuaid's Obituary
KATHERINE EDNA "KITTY" MCQUAID, 75, of South Point, OH, went to be with her heavenly Father and husband, Saturday, May 31, 2014, in Sunset Nursing Center. To honor Katherine's requests, there will be graveside services at Noon Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Union Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow. Katherine was born June 19, 1938, in Ironton, OH, a daughter of the late Sammie and Fonnie Moore Huff. She was a former supervisor for Rollyson's Aluminum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. McQuaid; and three brothers, Sammie "Junior" Huff, Jr., Ray Huff, and Merrill Huff. She is survived by her children, Eddie McQuaid, Laura Legg, Kathy Saunders, and Lisa Adkins; five grandchildren, Cory McQuaid, Justin McQuaid, Jessie Adkins, Kara Smith, and Brody Saunders; and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH.
