Kathleen Virginia Holderby's Obituary
In loving memory of Kathleen Virginia Rose Holderby ,98, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born November 25, 1921 in Scottown, Ohio daughter of late Meda Zimmerman Rose and Levi Rose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elwin F. Holderby; and a son Elwin F. Holderby, ll. She is survived by her children, Brenda Holderby, Terry Holderby, Dar Holderby and Gary Holderby; grandchildren Michelle Toombs, Melissa Morris, Mindy Morris, Christopher Morris, Jassen Holderby, and Denarae Holderby; 13 grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her sister Geneva Rose. Kathleen was enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in WWII from 1943-1945. She left the service as a decorated war veteran. She touched the lives of everyone around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all but knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior, we know that our hearts will be at peace. No services will be held.
