Kathy Diane Thacker's Obituary
Kathy Diane Thacker, 61, of Chesapeake, OH passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born October 1, 1961 in Huntington, WV to the late Brady and Faye (Deal) Hughes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky A. Thacker; infant brother, Bobby Darren Hughes; nieces Mandy and Brandy Hughes. Kathy retired from McDonalds of Proctorville. Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Jamie (Joseph) Lewis and Beth (Scott) Ferguson; three granddaughters, Allie and Morgan Plybon and Hayley Thompson; two great grandchildren, Wrenleigh and Ryland; two sisters, Penny and Dream; five brothers, Bill, George, Scott, Michael and Danny and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. The family would like to give special thanks to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for their care. There will be funeral service held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH with Pastor Charles Langdon officiating. Entombment will follow at Miller Memorial Gardens in Miller, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be expressed at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
