Kay Ellen Chacos' Obituary
Kay Ellen "Grammy K" Wheeler Chacos, 83, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Heartland of Riverview South Point, Ohio. She was born January 8, 1937 in Ironton, Ohio daughter of the late Joseph Ellison Wheeler and Naomi Ross Wheeler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Chacos; two sisters Phyllis Snider and Anne Brown; one brother Robert Wheeler; three brothers-in-law Bob Rose, Charlie Brown, and Bill Damron; one sister-in-law Dorothy Wheeler. She is survived by a son that she loved very much John Balmer and his wife Joy; two granddaughters Krystal Balmer and Tiffany (Blake) Springer; three great-granddaughters Reagan, Mylee, and Harper Springer; two sisters Mildred "June" Wheeler Damron and Colletta Wheeler Rose; one brother Richard Wheeler; one brother-in-law Stanley Snider; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She loved her nieces and nephews very much Aneeka, Lisa, Bobbi, Shana, Stanley Jr., Joe, Byran, John, Kevin, and Robby; great nieces and nephews Alissa, Jessica, Justin, David, and Josh. They all called her "Grammy K" which she loved and it put a big smile on her face. She was a member of the Church of Christ. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2020 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
