Kenneth Leon Massie's Obituary
Kenneth Leon Massie, 85, of Proctorville, Ohio, went to be with our Lord on January 1, 2025 at home. He was born on October 16, 1939, in Linville, Ohio. He attended Chesapeake High School and retired from Bragg’s Body Shop. He was a proud member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville, as well as a member of Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F&AM. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Diana Gail Welch Massie, his parents Earl and Velva Forbush, brother Michael Forbush, brothers-in-law, Jerry Thompson and Wayne D. Brammer, and sister-in-law Alice Faye Fuller. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Linda Sue Thompson and Carletta (Keith) Sturm, sister-in-law Roberta Brammer, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and several wonderful neighbors. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM and a Masonic Service starting at 7:30 PM, on Saturday January 4, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday January 5, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Jeff Black officiating. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed at ehallfuneralhome.com
Due to expecting weather conditions, Kenneth Massie’s Funeral Service will begin at 1 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH.
