Kenneth Ray Mercer's Obituary
Kenneth R Mercer age 69 of Olive Hill, KY, passed away Saturday December 12th, 2020 at his home. He was born August 15, 1951 in Salyersville, KY, a son of William J. and Christine Rowe Mercer. He was preceded in death by four siblings: Flossie Prater, Andrew (Sonny) Mercer, Mary Mercer, and Billy Mercer. Kenneth had a big, soft, giving heart and enjoyed any time spent with family and friends. He enjoyed outings, reunions, and he especially enjoyed riding his bike. Kenneth is survived by eight siblings: Martha Coons San Antonio, Tx, Ernest (Connie) Mercer Ashland, KY, Violet (Roger) West Catlettsburg, KY, Rodney (Lisa) Mercer Kenton, Ohio, Kathleen Mccafferty Olive Hill, KY, Gloria Mercer Kenton, OH, Vivian Mercer Scottown, OH, Deborah Mercer Cottondale, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Monday December 21, 2020 at 2 pm at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH, with Chaplain Jim Smedley officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowe Family Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Family visitation will be held 12-1pm, followed by open visitation from 1pm until time of service.
