Larry Glen Cooper's Obituary
Larry Glen Cooper, 79, of Huntington, WV passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton, OH. He was born September 15, 1943 to the late Clema and Anna Rae (Hall) Cooper. Larry was a retired Army Veteran. He was a tank driver for the U.S. Army and served in Germany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom, Jackie and Jimbo Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Gail Cooper; three daughters, Sandy (Bruce) Meyer of Virginia, Leslie (Scott) Christian of Huntington, WV and Bobbie Christian (Ricky) of North Carolina; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Bridges Kidd. There will be a funeral service held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH conducted by James Insco. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV with Proctorville VFW 6878 conducting military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 11:30-1 p.m. on Wednesday.
