Larry Gene Holley, 75, of Huntington, WV, passed away on June 6, 2026, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born on May 3, 1951, in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Holley; mother and stepfather, Lillie and Frank Strupe; son, Shannon Joe Holley; grandchildren, Travis J. Scott and Paige Alexis Holley, and brother, Ricky Holley. Larry was a retired welder from AC&F. He was a jokester who liked playing pranks on people and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He is survived by his sons, Larry Gene Holley Jr., and Travis J. Scott Holley; grandchildren, Tori and Lance Holley, Arianna, Itayus, Natalie, Vanessa, Tiffany Holley, and Brooke Alyssa Kay Holley; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Thoedore Engart; brothers, Roger (Norma) Holley and Charlie (Sue) Holley; sister, Serina Tallent; aunt, Darlene Wilson; nephews, Stewart, Shawn, Aaron, and Derek Holley, and nieces, Alesha Holley, Michelle Wilson and Jessica Tallent. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Gospel Tabernacle, 429 Cleveland Street, Wayne, WV, 25570.
