Larry Alan Roberts 1948 - 2016
Larry Alan Roberts,68, of South Point, Ohio passed away Wednesday December 7, 2016 at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born June 21, 1948 in Huntington, WV to the late Paul “Pat” Roberts and Oweva C. Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Roberts and a special niece Buffy Roberts. Larry is a Graduate of Fairland High School class of 1967. Larry served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971 in South Korea and here in the United States. He retired in 1995 as a Steel Pourer from U.S. Steel in Lorain, Ohio. Larry is survived by his wife Nancy Roberts of South Point, Ohio; daughter Kristen Carver; grandchildren: Lynn Marie Carver, Jared Michael Carver and Isabella Diaz; great-grandchildren: Elijah, Brendon, Katie, Paul and Wyatt, all of Vermillion, Ohio; Step-daughters: Jessica Gannon of Cleveland, Ohio and Casondra(Nick) Fairchild and grandson Isaac, of Somerset, KY and special sister-in-law Nancy Roberts of Proctorville, Ohio, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday December 10, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Charles Bayless.
