Laura Waggoner Ramsey's Obituary
Laura Waggoner Ramsey, 54, of Lavalette, WV passed away in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was born April 21, 1969. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peggy Jean, and Donald Thomas Waggoner. Laura is survived by her husband, C. Scott Ramsey II; father-in-law, C. Scott Ramsey; sisters-in-law, Julie (Jim) Sluss, Mary Ramsey and Holly Fryman; and nephew, Tyler J. Sluss. A Celebration of Life service will be held 12 noon, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Johnson Memorial UMC with Pastor Annette Carper presiding. Visitation will be held 11 am to 12 noon also at the Church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local animal shelter.
