Lawrence Fortner's Obituary
Lawrence Fortner, 87, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, in Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. He was born February 9, 1934, in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives Faye and Pam Fortner; and two sons Greg Fortner and Keith Fortner; five sisters; and two brothers. He is survived by his three grandchildren, Austin Fortner (Samantha), Jessica Ridenour (Chris) and Ashley Wheeler (Tommy); one sister, Mary Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. He retired from CSX Railroad as a crane operator. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
