Lee Edward Whitley, 89, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife Fran, their son Kurt Whitley, a grandson Travis Mannon, and two brothers, Kimball and Charlie Bill Whitley.He is survived by his two daughters, Teresa Beter (Mike) of Proctorville, OH., Deborah Lauffer of Proctorville, OH., and daughter in law, Laurie Whitley; three grandchildren, Wendy Mannon Ornold (Billy), Kenny Beter (Courtni), and Erica Lockwood; seven great grandchildren, Alexis, Kaydin, Zoe, Jaxon, Mason, Rosie, August; one brother Jackie Whitley (Sharon) and three sisters, Mabel Schenk, Gloria Jean Riley and Janie Bonner (Dan), along with several nieces and nephews.Lee was loved by his family and friends dearly. He was the former owner of Village Floral in Proctorville, Ohio. A member of Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F&AM, member of Proctorville Eastern Star #257 OES, 32° Scottish Rite Mason, El Hasa Shriner, Proctorville Village Council Man, Member of the Rome Proctorville Cemetery Board, Chesapeake Proctorville Lions Club, Member of Cedar Street Baptist Church of Proctorville, Ohio.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the people that made it possible for Mr. Whitley to be cared for in his home, Paula France, Becky "Blue Car Becky" Morrison, and Cindy Nichols.There will be a funeral service on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at 2:30PM officiated by Pastor Brian Root, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home. A Masonic Service at 2:00 followed by the Eastern Star Service. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
