Leeman H. Shepherd's Obituary
Leeman H. Shepherd, 85, of Willow Wood, OH passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born April 18, 1940, in Ash County, NC to the late Thomas and Vena Miller Shepherd. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Jean Shepherd; two brothers Russell and Charlie Shepherd. He is survived by his son Randy (Kimberly) Shepherd; two grandkids Sheldon and Chandler Shepherd; one brother Tuck Shepherd; several nieces and nephews. He was retired from the local Pipe liners Union #798. He owned and operated a farm and ran the Arabia Pit Stop with his son Randy. In his younger years he loved to hunt and had a great passion for guns. He was a very generous man that took very good care of his family and was always there to help. In his golden years, him and his wife Thelma loved to sit on their front porch and reminisce about the good ole days. His greatest love, joy, and what he was most proud of, were his two grandsons Sheldon and Chandler. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Hatfield Sheperd Cemetery in Willow Wood, OH. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
