Matt and Alice, I have so many fond memories of your dad growing up. One of my first was when Uncle Don introduced me to my first dog, a boxer named bobo. As I grew up we visited many times. Uncle Don was usually in his garage making something. Shortly after I got out of the Navy, he made me a knife. It was beautiful. I've since given it to Christian. Your father was a wonderful man and was, in today's terms, a master maker. May your memories help comfort you in this difficult time.

Dear Matt and Alice Our hearts go out to you both in this time of sorrow. Your dad was a friend to so many people and especially our side of the family. His talents were many and will be talked about for years to come. I remember his T-model Ford that he restored and put in a ford V8 engine and then bought a sewing machine so he could make the leather seat coverings, of course the many knives for so many people and then can't forget the spiral staircase made for the river house. His cigars were not smoked but he did so enjoy 'chewing' them. But to sum up he was more than a cousin he was a best friend to my me & my family. We always enjoyed our visits and will miss him. RIP
