Leo Stevenson Gibbs' Obituary
Leo Stevenson Gibbs, 94, of South Point, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Ironton Campus, Ironton, Ohio. He was born June 18, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a daughter Stephanie Gibbs and his wife Wilma E. Gibbs. He is survived by his son Glenn S. Gibbs; grandson Paris Smith; and best friend Margaret Pennington. He received a GED in 1946 and worked for the Guyan Golf and Country Club, and then as a mail courier with Huntington National Bank. The family wishes to express a special thank you to St. Mary's Medical Center of Huntington, WV, Harbor Healthcare of Ironton, Ohio, and St. Mary's Medical Center, Ironton, Ohio. A family service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Entombment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV.
