The Freeman family are a blessing through their many contributions in our community and at the heart of this is June Freeman. "Go Rest High.."
We had the Divine pleasure of visiting June on September 18th. Just a few weeks before she left this earth for her Heavenly home. We had such a nice visit with her. We all LOVED June and always enjoyed her delicious pies. She was so faithful to send uplifting cards and call my Mom, ("Boo" Moore), on the phone to check on her, even tho it was June who was battling cancer. She always thought of others, and we will remember her sweet and gentle soul. Always smiling too, even through her pain. We will all miss June very much. Our hearts and our prayers are with her dear family. We love you all.

The mold was broken on this dear lady! I have so many memories. I spent a lot of time growing up in that house. I remember all 7 of us riding on the tractor up to the house after school! Good times! June would be there making food, cleaning or doing laundry. She'd get aggravated at some of us for not listening or doing what we should have been doing. Imagine that. She always had a good meal fixed and you never left the table hungry. After playing outside it was bath time. Teresa and I always got the "first" water. I always wondered if that was because we were the oldest or if it was because I was a guest? Oh well, don't look a gifthorse in the mouth. I remember holidays at school and because my mom was a teacher she always hoped to get a Freeman kid because that meant homemade pies! Delicious! I know Teresa was embarrassed because June. brought in pies but little did she know the teachers couldn't wait to get them. This past Christmas I had the opportunity to listen to June and some of her siblings sing at the Chamber of Commerce. What a treat! Their love of music is contagious. I could go on for hours. Suffice it to say June was a wonderful, godly lady who will be missed.
June was such a kind soul and loved by many.
