Leona Ann Jones' Obituary
Leona Ann Jones, 75, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born on August 26, 1948, to the late Earl and Jettie Terry Arix. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jones; four sisters, Joy, Yvonne, Ruth, and Iris; one brother, David, and her brother-in-law, Shirley Johnson. She is survived by her children, Lisa (Clarence) Ferguson, Kim (David) Weant, Julie Jones, and Vicy Bocook; five grandchildren, Karli (Derek) Fulks, Clarence (Meagan) Ferguson, Kayla Ferguson, Bryan Defoe, and Colton Davis; eight great-grandchildren, Lucas, Rylee, Jaxon, Lily, Walker, Bentley, Bradley, and Nova; one sister, Marie Johnson; and one brother, Roger Arix. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 2PM at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Tom Jones, officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior from 1PM - 2PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio.
