Lillian "Charlene" Wolford's Obituary
Charlene Wolford, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on June 13, 2024 at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born on March 26, 1943 in Hindman, Kentucky to the late Albro and Pauline Garrett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albro and Pauline and grandparents Lester and Winnie Day. Charlene retired from Scott's Orthopedic and devoted her time to catering hundreds of wedding and anniversary events. She was a volunteer at Highlawn Baptist Church and Hite Saunders Little League for many years. She resided in Huntington, West Virginia and is survived by her husband, Harry Wolford, children: Robert (Simone) Wolford; Mary (Jeffrey L.) Hale; Sara (Jeffrey B.) Marks; grandchildren: Samuel Wolford; Jenna Wolford; Peyton Marks; and Bella Marks. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 11am at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow the service at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10am. Special thanks to all at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center and King's Daughters Medical Center who provided exceptional care to her.
