Linda Lou Adkins' Obituary
Linda Lou Adkins, 78, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on February 27, 2026, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Born on April 20, 1947, in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Barbara Kilbreth Munsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Adkins. Linda never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Stacie (Don) Barker Blair and Michael (Stacey Norman) Adkins; grandchildren, Shawn (Katie) Beckett and Chad (Terrin) Beckett; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Levi, Joanna, Solomon, Jaxon, and Lindley; several nieces and nephews, and her special dog, Barney. Per her wishes, no services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
