Linda Sue Bloomfield's Obituary
Linda Sue Bloomfield, 67, of Ironton, OH passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born January 8, 1956 in Ironton, OH to the late Gilbert and Evelyn (Brammer) Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Bloomfield. Those left to cherish her memory are two children, Amanda (Richard) Martin and Chris Jenkins; two step-children, Chris (Katie) Bloomfield and Brad (Gina) Bloomfield; one brother, Robert F. (Mariann) Long; one sister, Cindy (David) Summers-Huber; grandchildren, Alex and Jon Blanchet; step grandchildren, Christian, Maddie and Ryder Bloomfield, Seth, Justin, Matthew and Tygan; nephews, Bobby (Charlene) Long, Alex (Alli) Long and Ryan Summers. There will be a funeral service held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Central Christian Church 1541 S 7th St. Ironton, OH with Willie Purdee officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Hall Funeral Home & Crematory in Proctorville, OH is assisting the family.
