Linda Hoback's Obituary
LINDA M. HOBACK, 76, of Chesapeake, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. She was born December 25, 1939, in Huntington, to the late Oscar Lawrence and Margaret Dietz Pinkerman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Pinkerman. She retired from the Veterans Administration. She was a member of the former Highlawn Baptist Church. She was an avid pianist and instructor and writer of several songs. She is survived by her husband, Roger Hoback; one son and daughter-in-law whom she considered like a daughter, Roger (Sherri) Hoback II of Chesapeake, Ohio; and one grandson, Roger (Brianna) Hoback III of Proctorville. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016, at Schneider Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Ohio, by Pastor David Jicka. Burial will follow in Newman Cemetery, Lavalette, W.Va.
