Linda Sue Kay's Obituary
Linda Sue Martin Kay, 73, of South Point, Ohio passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior, on Friday Feb 10, 2023. She was a longtime member of Defender Methodist Church. She loved the Lord and her family, and her life exemplified that. Even in her pain and suffering, she put others before herself. Linda was born on January 28, 1950, in Huntington WV daughter of Clifford Blaine Martin Sr and Dorothy Helen Nelson Martin. She graduated from Dawson Bryant High School in 1969.Linda enjoyed crafting, working with flowers and for a while worked at Hatchers. She also quilted and worked with her husband Tommy in their wood shop making different things and Christmas items.She was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Bias, sons Jeffrey Ruggles and Roy (RJ) Ruggles Jr, parents Clifford Blaine Martin Sr and Dorothy Helen Martin, sister Mary Alice Ruggles and father and mother-in-law Tom and Mary Kay. She is survived by her husband Tommy Kay, daughter Mary Kay, son Rodney Lee Ruggles, brother Clifford "Skip" Martin Jr (Jackie Schmidt), sisters Carol (Larry) Stapleton, Paula (Dave) Stapleton and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held later. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
