I meet Lloyd about 3 years ago by going into McDonald's on my way to work. I had just moved to Proctorville that week. He made me feel welcome in the community. He quickly became a good friend and shared vegetables from his garden with me. He was a wonderful man, kind hearted. He will be missed!!
I always enjoyed talking to Lloyd at McDonald’s. He was a very nice person and I will miss him.
Condolences to the Lloyd Ash family. I was a friend to his wife Linda whom I loved dearly, and became friends with Lloyd. I will miss sitting with him on Sundays at Beulah. My heart is with his family at this difficult time. To honor Lloyd today, I play his favorite hymn on piano, "I Can't Even Walk Without Holding His Hand."
