Lloyd Simpkins' Obituary
Lloyd Simpkins, 80, of South Point, Ohio passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born March 8, 1939 in Wayne, WV to the late Freeland and Inez Simpkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phronsie Simpkins; a grandson George Simpkins; and infant sister. He is survived by three sons David Lee Simpkins of Ona, WV, Lloyd Ray Simpkins of Scottown, Ohio, and Jimmie Dale Simpkins of Amelia, VA; two daughters Robin Annette Blevins of Gholson, TX, and Karen Cardoso of Proctorville, Ohio; seven grandchildren David, Missy, and Irene Simpkins, Lloyd Simpkins, Savannah Chambers, Heather Simpkins, and Chrissy Simpkins; ten great grandchildren Austin, Maddie, Dakota, Bailey, Kaytlyn, Colten, Mason, Brayden, Ethan, and Kiara; three siblings Helen Parsons of West Hamlin, WV, Tootise (Asbury) Adkins of East Lynn, WV, and John (Brenda) Simpkins of Wayne, WV; and many nieces and nephews. Lloyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother to all. A private family service will be held Wednesday March 13, 2019.
