Lois Gue's Obituary
LOIS GUE, 87, of Chesapeake, OH, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at her son's residence. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Lois was born August 30, 1925, in Louisa, KY, a daughter of the late Oliver Lee and Dicie Ramey Curnutte. She was a private caregiver and of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ireland Gue; one son, Carl Baumgardner; and six siblings, Bernice Hawkins, Mabel Thompson, Henrietta Harrison, Hager Curnutte, Mary Curnutte, and Goldie Curnutte. Lois is survived by four children, Patricia "Patty" Simmons of Huntington, WV, Roger (Marie) Baumgardner of Proctorville, OH, Virena (Tony) Spurlock of Huntington, WV; and Mary Ruth (Thomas) Horn of Jackson, MI; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.schneidergriffin.com.
